Workout of the Week 07/07/18
Hey everyone! I hope you had an amazing 4th of July. We had an awesome week, full of fun and adventure. Now it's time to get back on track with this weeks Workout of the Week.
This workout is a burner. Your legs will definitely feel it. Make sure you use proper technique. With the amount of reps you could really injure yourself if you do it improperly. As you fatigue don't let your posture break down. Keep your core tight with each movement.
No equipment is needed for this workout. Scaling options will just be to scale the numbers. Push yourself without losing form. You may want to use an ab mat for the sit-ups, this is the one I use.
Movements
The movement in this workout very basic but are made to wear you out and wear you down. With these high volumes please work on your form throughout the entirety of the workout. What tends to happen when we throw in these high rep counts the form gets very sloppy and basically falls apart.
Make sure on your squats your hips age going below parallel with your knees. Your back needs to stay straight and knees need to driver out. When you stand out of the squat you need to stand up fully so that your shoulders, hips and knees are all in alignment. Squeeze your glutes!
Sit ups your shoulders need to touch the ground and then cross the hips in the seated position. Your feet can be in position you need them in.
For you Lunges your knee needs to touch the ground and make sure the leading knee doesn't track in front of your toes. Make sure when you stand up you stand up fully.
This is for time but don't sacrifice form for time.

Workout of the Week
For Time:
- 150 Squats
- 100 Sit-ups
- 50 Lunges (25 each leg)
- 100 Sit-ups
- 150 Squats
Scale: The Quantity of reps. You know you're body better than anyone.
